What are the service times? Do I have to RSVP?
We will have one service at 10 a.m.! No RSVPs or registering! Just show up!
What if it rains?
Each week we will watch the weather forecast closely. If by Saturday afternoon it looks like it will rain on Sunday morning, we will have to cancel our lawn service and we will notify you. Fortunately, each week will will continue to offer our online service option in addition to our Summer Family Worship on the Lawn. So you will always have an option to worship with us – in-person or virtually! Make sure that you are getting our emails by filling out this quick form.
I’m confused. Weren’t we headed back into the building starting July 5?
On Sunday, June 28 we had our Worship on the Lawn service to kick off the return of in-person services. We were thrilled with the tremendous success of that outdoor service! So the next day, Pastor Mark and our staff made the decision to scrap our in-building/RSVP plan for services and instead head outside all summer!
What should I bring?
If you plan to sit on the lawn, bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. Also remember it may get warm, so bring water bottles, sunscreen, umbrella, or whatever you think you may need!
Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks will be worn by CCC staff and serve team members. Since we are outside, masks are not required but encouraged for the safety of all.
Is there Children’s Ministry?
We’ve structured this service to be family-friendly, so there will not be a separate children’s or students’ offering on Sunday mornings. Look for children’s small activity bags handed out to keep them busy during the sermon. Need to walk around with your child? No problem. We are truly family-friendly, so take them for a walk or let them cool off under the over-hang if they need it!
