If you’re just discovering God,
questioning God or following God, this is the place for you. Church should be more than a religious experience. You should seek to connect with Jesus, grow in a relationship with him and find your place serving him.
Our Church Story
In the mid-1970s, Pastor Jim Colledge’s life was changed by Christ. Along with five other members, he founded Hudson Community Chapel in 1981 and in 1987, they built the first church building on Stow Road in Hudson. Nearly 10 years later, Pastor Joe Coffey joined the church staff, and together they opened what is now our Hudson campus location in 2000. After a name change to Christ Community Chapel, the church proceeded to launch campuses in Aurora, Stow, Highland Square and Cuyahoga Hills Youth Detention Center.
Our Campus Story
In 2009 Lakeview Chapel in Aurora approached CCC to become a campus location. After being approached by Lakeview Chapel in 2009, the Aurora campus of CCC was launched in 2010 with the remaining members of Lakeview and a core group from the Hudson campus set on bringing the love of Christ to Aurora.
The group prayed for the parking lot to be filled again. That prayer has been answered with two full services each week at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Mark Lile, our campus pastor, has served with CCC for 25 years and has led the Aurora campus since 2012. His vision is to see this church become a place where people from all walks of life can come to know Jesus and serve in Aurora and beyond.
We know the church isn’t just a building; it’s a group of believers. Whether they worship here in Aurora or elsewhere, our church is made up of people passionate about knowing Jesus, growing in him and serving him daily. Find out more about what we believe and consider joining us.
As a people, we’re united by a life-changing experience with God. As a church, we’re devoted to setting everyone on a path to individual discipleship and engaging God’s people to become more like him. We invite you to learn more about our particular beliefs.
